PID provides planning, design, consultancy, project management and construction in a variety of related fields. As engineers and problem-solvers, we are confronted daily with a very wide range of tasks, from research into on-site sanitation sustainability questions, to the design of sophisticated water pumping stations, to the planning of hydro-electric power production. Mainly for the South African Water Research Commission, we have completed a number of innovative research projects, primarily focused on water supply and sanitation, appropriate and intermediate technology, and sustainability of infrastructure and project implementation.
