To build capacity and support business opportunities, PID has developed and conducted training about rural sanitation implementation and health and hygiene of pit-emptiers. More recently, PID has been involved in the development of management tools for school sanitation, which are being piloted in schools at an increasingly larger scale. From a research-based perspective, more training materials and models are being developed for piloting.
