Muanda, Christophe - Cape Peninsula U. of Technology, South Africa

Christophe Muanda is a researcher at the Centre for Water and Sanitation Research of the Cape Peninsula University of Technology based in Cape Town. He has a MTech Eng. in Civil Engineering. Chris has been involved in many research projects including Operation and maintenance of basic water and sanitation services (WRC 1714/09 and TT 423/09), User’s acceptance and functioning of mobile communal sanitation facilities (WRC 2017), Technical sanitation solutions for informal settlements (WRC 2098), Practical application and Performance of slow sand filtration in South Africa (WRC 1836), Management of faecal sludge from dry sanitation system – a case study of the MobiSan, Characterisation of faecal sludge from the dry sanitation systems – a case study of the MobiSan. Christophe Muanda is currently a PhD candidate (at IHE Delft) focusing in innovative and sustainable sanitation for peri-urban areas of developing countries.
