Woods, Emily - Sanivation, Georgia Institute of Technology, USA
A graduate of Georgia Tech with a B.S in mechanical engineering. In the past she designed and created water supply systems with Engineers without Boarders and Living Water. She also worked at Yellowstone National Park doing solar feasibility analysis and water conservation. She began her work in fecal sludge as a research engineer for Georgia Tech Research Institute. This past year Emily spent in Chile under a grant with her start up company- Sanivation, prototyping and testing solar waste treatment systems. From here she will continue her work in Kenya working with Water and Sanitation for Urban Poor and with GIZ.
