Oliver Ive is the Managing Director of Amanz' abantu Services (Pty) Ltd, based in East London, Eastern Cape. He specialises in the implementation of water and sanitation schemes and services with a particular focus on the development and the provision of public services to the poor. He is a professional engineer and professional construction project manager, and is a member of SAICE, IMESA and a fellow of WISA.

Following many years of experience working in construction, engineering design and operations and maintenance of water services, Oliver was appointed as the Managing Director of Amanz’ abantu Services in 1997 and CEO of  Metsico (Pty) Ltd in 2001, both companies were the Programme Implementing Agents for DWAF’s high profile “Build operate, Train and Transfer” Programmes between 1997 and 2004. Oliver was a director of Uzinzo Water Services which was the “strategic partner” for the creation of Maluti-a-Phofung Water, and is the CEO of Impilo Yabantu Services (Pty) Ltd which is the wholly owned subsidiary of Amanz’ abantu focussing on water services franchising.
