Cissé, Guéladio - Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute

Guéladio Cissé is a senior scientist, project and research group leader at the Ecosystem Health Sciences Unit within the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health of the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH). He holds a sanitary engineering PhD from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). For more than 20 years he is working at the interface of environment and human health, coordinating research partnerships teams and projects, promoting multidisciplinary and trans-disciplinary research on water, sanitation, wastewater reuse, hygiene and health. He is currently a project team member and contributor to the elaboration and implementation of “Sanitation Safety Plans” within a new SDC multi partnership funded project (involving WHO + IWMI + partners) on “Resource Recycling and Reuse” (RR&R).
