Steve Dentel is a full professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Delaware.  He has well over 100 publications involving water and wastewater management, specializing on sludge and biosolids treatment.  He serves widely as a consultant in these areas, and chairs a worldwide specialist group on sludge treatment for the International Water Association.  He is also a project mentor for UD’s chapter of Engineers Without Borders and has traveled to Cameroon ten times with EWB-UD students. 

His collaborators on the present work are Mr. Chunjian Shi, Ms. Solmaz Marzooghi, Dr. Rovshan Mahmudov, and Dr. Paul Imhoff.
